Victoria A. Chen
Head of Curriculum - Communication / Acting
Victoria is passionate about nurturing life-skills in creative thinking and communication, as well as building self-esteem and compassion in children.
With over two decades as a drama educator under her belt, she has designed and conducted a range of communication and drama programmes for varied learners and age groups for both schools and corporate. Victoria's immense experience in early childhood and special education makes her versatile in her teaching approach.
Apart from education, Victoria wears the drama practitioner hat in teaching, acting and directing. She has taught drama and directed plays in numerous schools, and has coached candidates, both youth and adults, in preparation for acting, recital and public speaking exams.
Victoria is enthusiastic about sharing knowledge and is constantly challenging the status quo. She is committed to education and empowering individuals to realise their full potential.

Desmond Sim - Head of DSA Curriculum
Desmond has had vast professional experience in playwriting with published works such as Six Plays and student plays ( Epigram Books, 2013), Mistress and other creative take offs amongst other works.
His teaching experiences has included guest lecturing at Temasek Design School ( 2003-2016) & Lasalle College of the Arts (2008-2016).
He also had several works produced by KL Performing Arts Centre from 2010- 2013. He has held more than a dozen art exhibitions and won several national prizes for theatre ( such as Play of the year,
Best Orginal Script , Autumn Tomyum) and short story and poetry writing.
His teaching experiences has included guest lecturing at Temasek Design School ( 2003-2016) & Lasalle College of the Arts (2008-2016).

May Jayashanker - Vocal Coach
May Jayashanker is a skilled and experienced vocal and singing trainer and coach with mastery in both Indian Carnatic ( classical ) music and contemporary Western pop performances. A graduate from both Trinity College London (vocals) and Associated Board Royal School Of Music (classical) and twice Top Scorer, she has worked with more than a hundred talents.
Hailing from a family of prominent singers and musicians in Asia – The Subramaniams – May excels in bringing out the voices of children in different languages with distinctive flexibility in stylistics. As an accomplished singer herself, she has guided some of the best young talents from this region to much success.
May Jay also holds a Teaching Diploma in 'Creative Language Arts" from.College of Teachers UK (specialized subjects are Phonics, Speech & Drama & Public Speaking)

Cornelia Fernandez - Senior Trainer
Cordelia has much experience in voice overs and MC work. She conducts corporate training on a freelance basis and was one of the core actors for the Masquerade Theatre Enterprises.
She received various certifications such as RSA Cert TEFLA ( Kent, United Kingdom) and Associate of the Guildhall School of Music & Drama ( AGSMD) Teachers' Diploma .
Cordelia's 6 year involvement with Academie of Stars is a wonderful complement to her academic teaching. She teaches the Talk Show classes and coaches students for the external LAMDA examinations. She has also conducted numerous Master Classes in Acting, Public Speaking and Professional Preparation.

Magdalene Tang - Dance Trainer
A creative fiery spirit, Maggie Koh is best known for her eclectic style of Contemporary Pop. She has been working professionally as a choreographer, instructor and performer for 14 years locally and in the Asia pacific region.
She has worked in shows and companies such as Mediacorp, Fly Entertainment, TVB Asia, Running into the sun, 'Super mummy, the musical’ , Asia's got Talent', 'Getai, the musical ', 'Ah Boys to Men', The Great World Cabaret', '881', 'High Class', 'Vision', Agnes Monica Tour', and has had the honor of representing Singapore in Japan.
Maggie aspires to push the boundaries of dance movement and continues to be a refreshing voice in the arts and entertainment.

Paul Joplin - Champion Communication Trainer

Addam
Addam’s passion for the arts led him to pursue theatre in Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA) where graduated with a Bachelor of Honours Degree from the University of Essex, UK.
His decade long experience in arts education and edutainment led Addam to work with a wide demographic of learners ranging from toddlers to youths. He is active in teaching drama in curriculum in primary and secondary schools, and he has directed school performances and term-end showcases.
Apart from teaching, Addam performs in theatre productions and school assembly shows, and is a screen actor in student films and web series.
In his continuous pursuit in expanding his proficiency in drama education, he achieved the Speaking of Verse and Prose Grade 6 examination by the London Academy of Dramatic Art (LAMDA) and attained the Essential of Teaching & Learning Approaches (ETLA) from the Singapore Drama Educators Association (SDEA).
In his free time, Addam facilitates science enrichment camps and hosts birthday party shows. He is very passionate and loves grooming young talents into the stars of tomorrow.

Ngoo Tien Hong Ted
Ngoo Tien Hong Ted is a tenor currently finishing his Bachelor’s Degree in Voice Performance at the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music at NUS (YSTCM). Ted graduated from the School of the Arts, Singapore (SOTA) in 2017, where he was taught by Reuben Lai, and was also part of YSTCM’s Young Artist Programme between 2016 and 2017.
Ted has a deep passion for theater music, having first started opera as a chorus member in New Opera Singapore’s staging of Purcell’s “Dido and Aeneas” (2014) and YSTCM’s semi- staging of Handel’s “Acis and Galatea” (2017). Ted had the opportunity to have his opera debut with L’Arietta, in their production of Michael Ching’s “Speed Dating Tonight” (2022). Ted is grateful to have many performance experience as a soloist, having performed as a soloist in events such as the ASEAN Paragames Opening Ceremony (2015), the Orchestra of Music Makers in the Concerto Il Solisti Series (2017) as part of the SOTA-OMM Concerto Competition, and alongside the YST Orchestra and Red Dot Baroque in the Voyage Festival (2022).
Apart from his passion for singing, Ted is an avid practitioner of Kendo, and is a proud member of the NUS Kendo Club.

Jorgan
Jorgan made his professional debut as a member of the Young & Wild theatre ensemble, led by Life! Theatre Award winner Edith Podesta. As part of the ensemble, he would appear on the Ngee Ann Kongsi Theatre stage at Wild Rice in Caryl Churchill's Love & Information .
He then went on to appear in Singapore's first pub-theatre, A Mirage , where he played a total of 5 characters in the classic Singaporean play, Boom , by Jean Tay. He has performed at National Gallery Singapore in an original musical by the artist collective PLAY! . He would later meet award winning actor- director Daniel Jenkins, with whom he would work on with in the multi-award winning play, The Almighty Sometimes , and subsequently star in the Olivier Award-winning play, A Monster Calls , at Singapore Repertory Theatre.
Away from the stage, Jorgan is passionate about martial arts, having learnt some boxing, Judo and Muay Thai, as well as being a stuntman in a few shows. He was also in the modern dance club back in school and enjoys the occasional choreography. He is an avid sportsman, having won medals for kayaking and dragon boating in his youth and also enjoying his time rock climbing as an instructor and bouldering gym manager. He previously served in the special forces formation, Naval Diving Unit, as a specialist and dive team leader.
Jorgan is keen to nurture artistic talent as well as impart acting techniques that will help students refine their craft, critique and improve on their own performance and ideate using their unique viewpoints.

Jing Sen is a musical theatre graduate and a Ministry of Education registered singing coach who is extremely keen on vocal pedagogy and imparting skills to avid learners. He has achieved Level 1 Certification in Somatic Voicework by Jeanie LoVetri, and continues to acquire knowledge and training in voice work and theatre.
His teaching experience in singing, movement and musical theatre sees his learners’ ages vary from pre-schoolers to adults. Jing Sen’s passion in teaching music led him to explore and conduct specialised music programmes for babies and toddlers. He plays both the piano and violin, and has taught violin for several years.
Apart from education, Jing Sen is a theatre performer with notable works that include In Pieces, LKY The Musical, The Hidden Singapore Musicals and more.

Wong Siew Yin @SWING - Dance Trainer
After graduated from Jitterbugs' developing artist programme in 2012, Swing started out as a kids dance instructor in Jitterbugs and eventually work for many local studios and MOE schools as dance instructor.
Doing mainly hiphop last time, she is currently learning other genres of street dances such as house and popping to improve her versatility as a dancer. She have competed in local competition such as All Babes Cineleisure Dance, Singapore Dance Delight and also many dance battles in both singapore and oversea.
Some of her achievement are Champion for H20 Dance competition in 2016, Singapore Dance Delight Final with her crew YAAAS in 2017, got into KOD South East Asia hiphop 3V3 Battle Top 4 in 2018 and also Juste Deboute Bangkok House 2V2 battle Top 8 in 2019.
